This is a redraw from my favorite Inktober drawing from last year. Instead of just drawing characters in poses I wanted to make an image that conveyed a story. I felt it was successful. You don't know who these characters are or what their situation was from any kind of written or spoken narrator, but by looking at the image you can kind of gather what happened and who they were/ are to each other.
Tribute poster I drew for this classic anime. Easily the largest I've made with the most characters I've packed together. Each was drawn and could be displayed individually.
You always hear about Goku vs Superman, but I thought these two from those respective universes have a lot more similarities in both appearance and powers. Stretchy arms, Laser eyes, Size manipulation, Planet shattering strength, affinity for capes, etc... Drawn in Procreate.
Harry and the Gang, digital recolor of a piece drawn traditionally. Referenced some Bob Ross tutorials for the background. Linework done on Paper with Pentel Pocket Brush, colored completely in Procreate.
This is a digitally recolored version of a paper commission I drew in 2017. You can find the original here in my gallery. Colored completely in Procreate.

Exploring poses and expressions.
Character Turnaround
Playing with variation in body types.
Exploring the potential look of Super Uce.
Exploring facial features and expressions for the character.
For awhile I was seriously considering making the Super Uce character look more akin to traditional Samoan warriors. I ultimately decided not to so as to avoid comparisons to Disney's Maui character.
Concept to visualize the fight scene in the animation.
As I designed the character, I constantly considered how the design's relation to Super Uce. Should it contrast his by being tall and slim as opposed to his short and squat physique? Or should he be broad to match?
I grew fond of the idea of a screen for a face, especially as I was inspired by Canti or FLCL.
These were the 2 designs I liked the most. The final design was chosen by my following on Instagram.
